We are Frank and Alice Cross. We live and work in Scotland and also have an office in Prague. We form and run UK companies for founders from across Europe, with a real understanding of both worlds.
We keep the books in our own accounting software, ALCHEMY TAX: you upload documents online, invoices, bank feeds and reports are always to hand, and we take care of tax returns, VAT, payroll and the annual accounts.
And after work there is Alchymistka, our alchemy club in Prague. Numbers, strategy and a little magic: freedom and a meaningful life matter to us as much as a correctly filed return.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to travel to the UK to form a company?
No. We provide the UK registered office and, as an ACSP, carry out the mandatory identity verification of directors online β the whole process is remote.
How long does formation take?
Once we have complete documents, usually 1β2 working days from filing at Companies House.
What is the difference between an active and a dormant company?
A dormant company does not trade and files only dormant accounts and the Confirmation Statement. An active company keeps full books, files a CT600 tax return and, where registered, VAT returns.
Do I need to be UK resident to be a director?
No. Directors and shareholders can live anywhere in the world; you only need a UK registered office, which we provide.
Can you keep the books after formation?
Yes. We run bookkeeping, annual accounts, Corporation Tax, VAT and payroll for UK companies run from abroad.
